We’re now expanding our Diamond Grading staff to satisfy the growing demands of the diamond market. *Performing the first examination of diamonds filed to the GIA Laboratory for Diamond Grading Reports.
*Precise identification and documentation of emotion features on a plot structure, assigning polish, symmetry, and clarity levels over the GIA Diamond Grading System.
*An intensive three (3) month to (6) month training period provides hands-on individualized coaching comprising GIA Laboratory policies, processes, and based guidelines from the documentation of pertinent data for your GIA Laboratory Diamond Grading Report.
*High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
*Bachelor’s level (B.A. or B.S.) in four-year college or university, in Earth Sciences or Geology favored not required.
*Willingness to finish the GIA Diamonds Program is demanded.
*Ability to get along with a diverse set of people.
*Ability to successfully operate with binocular microscopes.
*Basic computer skills required.
*Detail-enthusiastic with great concentration skills.
*Proven ability to take and learn from constructive criticism.
*Position Start Date: 06/25/2018
*Function Hours: 3 pm – 11 pm Monday through Friday
* Hourly Pay: $19. 00 and 10% night shift differential
*must be available during whole instruction
